About Us

Crosse Check, simply stated, is about a LIFESTYLE!

Our brand combines the iconic imagery of the lacrosse world paired with unique fabrics utilized in today's apparel market. Above all, Crosse Check's superior customer service and timely delivery is at the core of our business philosophy.

Creatively, we endeavor to generate "wearable art" that reflects both the larger themes about the lacrosse lifestyle that are easily accessible to the mass market consumer.  We are also exposing the public to quips, jokes, and ideas that depict the demanding realities of a community and sport, that until recently, only the most devoted lacrosse fan would truly appreciate...sorta the "insider's commentary".  "It's not just a LOGO...It's LIFESTYLE".

Lacrosse has become a lifestyle. Players, parents, alumni, and fans alike love to show off there gear. The apparel market within the sport has been relatively traditional and conservative in design.

UNTIL NOW...

Our Retail Division, the CROSSE CHECK brand, powered by an educated and able design team, considers relevant aesthetic apparel trends and combines those visual ques with the underlying goal of advancing the public's awareness of the rich history and tradition of a sport that until recently been relegated to the sidelines of the merchandising world with respect to the NFL, NBA, MMA and MLB. We are changing that for both the player who seeks performance apparel or the fan who wishes to show their love of the game.

CROSSE CHECK is a revolution! We are authentic. We are edgy. We are comfortable! We are traditional! We have something for everyone. We are providing our customers with apparel "options", that simply do not exist in the current marketplace. UNTIL NOW...

Our Custom and Branding division illustrates this intense and comprehensive effort. "THE WEST BOCA BULLS" dye-sublimated garment showcases the extensive dialogue between our design team, and the coaches and players of this up and coming team.  We asked and listened intently to their unique story about the struggle to build a team from scratch. Not only did we focus on their icons and colors, we wanted to construct a more complete visual narrative of what it means to be a WEST BOCA BULL---not just their logo and colors slapped on a garment---the way our competitors do. We are unique, we are different, we are the next big lacrosse apparel company.

CROSSE CHECK revels in the process of blending great artwork with performance, as well as, soft feel fabrics to showcase the multiple angles of a deeply rooted lifestyle that surrounds and informs those of the fantastic and exciting sport of lacrosse.  CROSSE CHECK utilizes a variety of embellishment techniques to create our unique looks including, Direct Screen Printing, Embroidery, Puff Printing, Foiling, Applique, Burnout, Discharge, and our most technical application, Dye Sublimation.

What is Dye Sublimation? Awesome question!

What is sublimation?
Sublimation is the process of transferring a printed image to a substrate. A substrate can be a specific fabric but not limited to poly-dri jersey's or jersey material.

What does sublimation mean?
Sublimation literally means the process of changing a solid to a gas while bypassing the liquid phase. Inks vaporize at the right temperature with the right substrate and the quick release allows the ink to be transferred with fine detail and brilliant color. Usually sublimation is very unlikely to fade or wash out. When you feel true sublimation on a substrate, you can not feel the logo. The ink is dyed directly into the garment. If you feel the logo on the garment you do not have sublimation.

What is semi sublimation?
Semi - Sublimation is taking a white (or lightly colored) based poly-dri pre made shirt, and applying the sublimation process to the garment. The printing field is usually limited and this is entry level dye sublimation. Examples of semi sublimation are the Fast Action Shirt, Samurai Shirt, and Punk U Shirt.

What is full sublimation?
Full Sublimation is taking poly-dri material in large rolls (over 250 ft) and first printing transfer paper through a large format printer on to dye sub paper. In the second step then transferring the image from the paper to the fabric through a large roll to roll or large format press. Typically the transfer takes place around 400 degrees for about a minute. Full sublimation allows all over printing including ghosting and full customization. Examples of full sublimation can be found on custom shorts, reversibles, shooting shirts, and game jerseys.

What color choices do I have?
When using dye sublimation, there are unlimited color choices available but to keep everything uniform, we have pre-selected the most popular colors, royal, scarlet, navy, black, orange, texas orange, lime, pink, hot pink, forest, kelly green, athletic gold, vegas gold, brown, purple, cardinal, maroon, gray. On occasion some manufactures may not make colors that match other manufactures but are close. If you don't see a color, chances are, we have it and can make it. With sublimation, you can use 100 colors or more in a logo and there is no additional cost to the manufacture, other than art time. Imagine the possibilities.
